Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern purchases made at https://astrodog.store (“Site”).

2) Who Can Buy

By placing an order, you confirm you are legally able to enter into a contract and that the information you provide is accurate (especially your shipping address).

3) Made-to-Order Products (Print-on-Demand)

Most items are made to order and fulfilled by third-party partners (including Printful and Printify and their fulfillment networks). Because of the production process:
  • items may ship in separate packages,
  • minor variations in print placement/appearance can occur,
  • production starts quickly after checkout, so changes/cancellations are limited.
4) Order Acceptance

Product listings are invitations to purchase, not binding offers.
We may accept, reject, or cancel any order in our discretion (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing errors, address issues, production constraints). If we cancel after payment, we’ll refund the amount paid.

5) Prices, Currency, Taxes, Customs
  • Prices are shown in USD.
  • Prices do not include applicable taxes (if any).
  • Shipping is free unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
Customs / import fees: Depending on destination, you may be charged customs duties, import taxes, or local fees by your authorities. These are your responsibility and are not included in our prices.

6) Payment

We accept PayPal and Stripe (which may include major cards and supported digital wallets depending on your device and location). Payment must be completed at checkout.

7) Shipping, Delivery Estimates, and Delays

7.1 Production + Shipping

Because items are made to order, delivery timelines include:
  • production time (before shipment), and
  • transit time (after shipment).
Delivery estimates shown at checkout or in emails are estimates, not guarantees.

7.2 Shipping Delays (US Compliance)

If we can’t ship within the timeframe we promised (or, if no timeframe is stated, within the timeframe required under applicable rules), we’ll notify you and provide the option to cancel for a full refund or agree to the delay, consistent with the FTC’s Mail/Internet Order Rule.  

7.3 Tracking

Tracking is provided when available. Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update after a label is created.

7.4 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address you provided, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

8) Returns, Refunds, Replacements (POD Rules)

8.1 No Returns for Change of Mind / Wrong Size

Because products are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:
  • wrong size, color, or variant selected,
  • change of mind / buyer’s remorse.
This aligns with Printify’s POD policy and typical POD operations.  

8.2 Defects / Damage / Wrong Item: We Fix It

If your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, you may be eligible for a free replacement (reprint) or refund, depending on the case—provided you contact us in time and include photo evidence.

Deadlines (30 days):
  • Printful requires claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items within 30 days of receipt, and lost-in-transit claims within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.  
  • Printify states returns/exchanges aren’t supported for wrong size/change of mind; issues should be handled as production problems.  
What you must provide: order number + clear photos + short description.

9) Address Accuracy

You are responsible for entering a correct, complete shipping address. If a package is returned, lost, or cannot be delivered due to address errors, replacement/refund may not be possible and may require additional payment.

10) Promotions and Pricing Errors

We may run promotions and discount codes with conditions (time limits, exclusions, one per customer, etc.).
If a pricing or listing error occurs, we may cancel affected orders and refund you.

11) Intellectual Property

All site content and designs are owned by or licensed to Astro·Dog. You may not use, copy, or distribute them without prior written permission.

12) Disclaimers (Keep It Real)

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site or carrier delivery times.
Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
14) Indemnification

If you misuse the Site, commit fraud, or violate these Terms, you agree to indemnify and hold Astro·Dog harmless from resulting claims, losses, and reasonable costs.

15) Dispute Resolution (US-Optimized)

15.1 Informal Resolution First

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at hello@astrodog.store and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.

15.2 Arbitration + Class Action Waiver (Recommended)

If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, you and Astro·Dog agree that disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and not as a class action, except where prohibited by law.

This section is intended to be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA). Class action waivers in FAA arbitration agreements are generally enforceable under US Supreme Court precedent.  

Arbitration should be administered by a reputable provider (e.g., AAA) under its applicable consumer rules. Note: enforceability depends heavily on clear website presentation and user assent (clickwrap).  

If you do not want arbitration, delete this entire section and keep venue/courts below.

16) Governing Law / Venue (Fallback If No Arbitration)

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.
If arbitration is not applicable or not enforced, disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Dubai, UAE, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place your order applies to that order.

18) Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
